Bringing process data into the control system

In addition to sensors and instruments, a Remote control system consists of input / output modules, a PLC and Human Machine Interface (HMI) that regulate and monitor the behavior of a process. The control may be performed either electronically, pneumatically or hydraulically or by a combination. Control is provided both locally at the unit and via cable from a control room. Connecting to the internet allows secure control and monitoring from anywhere.

It mainly consist of:

  • Input and Output modules that receives status data from sensors and sends commands
