Bringing process data into the control system
In addition to sensors and instruments, a Remote control system consists of input / output modules, a PLC and Human Machine Interface (HMI) that regulate and monitor the behavior of a process. The control may be performed either electronically, pneumatically or hydraulically or by a combination. Control is provided both locally at the unit and via cable from a control room. Connecting to the internet allows secure control and monitoring from anywhere.
It mainly consist of:
- Input and Output modules that receives status data from sensors and sends commands
- PLC inckluding software that processes data and performs actions
- HMI software for visualization and operator intervention
All our remote control system safeguard considerations for:
- Open sources and freedom
- Flexibility
- Scalability
- Integration
- Speed
- Internet connectivity
- Future-proof
